Pokerstars employs a no flop – no drop policy, meaning that no rake is collected by the house unless there is a flop. The maximum rake is based upon the size of the game. See below for more details.
In no-limit and pot-limit games, the maximum rake is dependent on the number of players dealt into the hand. In HORSE, HOSE and other mixed games where there are a mixture of NL, PL, and FL games, the rake is based on the game currently in rotation. Here is the Pokerstars rake schedule:

Pokerstars Tournament Fees
Multi-table tournaments with buy-ins ranging from $1 – 3, the fees are typically 10-16% of the tournament cost. Above that level up to about $80 the fees are usually about 10% of the buy-in. For example, a standard $20 tournament will have a $2 fee. Tournaments above $80 typically have fees in the 5-7% range.
In single table sit-n-go tournaments, the standard fee is 10%. The exceptions to this are for micro-stakes and high-stakes sit-n-go tournaments. In micro-stakes tournaments (less than $5), the fees go up to about 15%. For example, a $3, single table sit-n-go has a $.40 fee. A $1 sit-n-go has a fee of $.15.
In high stakes sit-n-go tournaments, the fees go down to as low as 4.2%. A $210 sit-n-go has a fee of $15, or 7.1%.
6 max sit-n-go tournaments usually have fees about 2% less than 9 players version of the same game and buy-in.
